All 7 MHSAA Football Championship games to air on the State Championships Radio Network
The State Championships Radio Network will broadcast all seven MHSAA football state championship games. Mississippi best broadcasters will provide statewide radio coverage on ESPN 105.9 The Zone (WRKS) in Jackson and on all Mississippi Public Broadcasting stations around the state. And new to the network this year is WUSM, 88.5 in Hattiesburg. “What’s great about the network is that no matter where you are in Mississippi, you’ll be able to find a station carrying the games,” said Jared Shotts, Owner of Shotts Media and executive producer of the State Championships Radio Network. Additionally, fans can follow the games on the State Championship Radio YouTube channel, which will feature an in-booth camera view of the commentators.
Anchoring play-by-play coverage for the broadcasts will be Ben Ingram, Mississippi native and voice of the Atlanta Braves. “I’m grateful to be able to come back home to Mississippi to be a part of these broadcasts,” said Ingram. “The entire crew does a great job providing this coverage and it’s just a great way to wrap up the high school football season.”
Additional play-by-commentary, color commentary, and sideline coverage will be provided by:
Jared Shotts – Voice of the Germantown Mavericks/Belhaven Blazers and owner of Shotts Media.
Jake Wimberly – Voice of the Brandon Bulldogs and host of The Drive on ESPN 105.9 The Zone.
Bryan Eubank – Voice of the Jackson Academy Raiders and executive producer for The Raider Network.
